f. 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in :heaven.

g. 22:31-32a JESUS CHALLENGES THEIR RESURRECTION IGNORANCE

F. 22:34-46 JESUS SILENCES THE PHARISEES

c. 22:37 JESUS POINTS OUT THE GREAT LAW COMMANDMENT

2. 22:41-46 BY SCRIPTURE, JESUS SILENCES THE PHARISEES

c. 22:43-44 JESUS POSES A PROBLEM TO THE PHARISEES

e. 22:46 WISDOM OF JESUS FINALLY COMPLETELY SILENCES HIS OPPOSITION

And no one could answer him a word,

neither dared any manfrom that :day question him any more.


NOTE: God the Father and Jesus His Son deserve our very best. My mother used to say, “If anything is worth doing at all, it is worth doing well!” I agree wholeheartedly - but especiallyanything pertaining to God. Thatought to be done doubly well!


That is the way I feel about God's Bible Numeric Interlinear Greek NT. Russian Ivan Panin felt that way in the production of his two Bible Numeric texts that I make use of. As I note in the “Interlinear Introduction” in our Website, I change the English text slightly in updating the English in it by changing “thee's and thou's”, and certain archaic expressions such as “whilom” to “former”. But these are the onlytype of changes in the English text. I transliterate the Greek text according to the Berlitz method of Greek transliteration, so that laymen may more easily make use of it if they so desire.


Panin went home to be with our Lord in 1942 from Aldershot, Ontario, disappointed that little interest occurred in his monumental work. He had hoped someone would put his two texts into Interlinear format. I trust he is not disappointed in the format I have felt led to use. It is nota regular interlinear format. His English translation can be read just as in his original text - it is notformatted word for word under the Greek text. And as already mentioned, the Greek text is transliterated. Both texts are formatted and centered as closely as possible to regular clauses or sentences, much as the Manuscripts for a Winston Churchill speech, or a Peter Marshall sermon. Then Strong's numbers appear behind each significant Greek word. And finally, and perhaps most significantly, I have outlined Panin's entire NT texts according to the sentences, subdivisions, paragraphs and sections (chapter equivalents) according to his Bible Numeric Discovery. Roman Numerals signify chapter equivalents; Capital Letter - paragraphs; Arabic numbers - subdivisions; and lower case letters - sentences. These summaries are mine, and are notinspired, though the Numeric Discovery of this by Panin - is! I have left a space above these 4 divisions, so that you the reader can cross out any of my summaries that do not appeal to you, and replace them with your own.


I had to let my former associate go; he took extreme liberties with Panin's English text, substituting for example “baptism” with “washing”, and many other unscholarly and uncalled for renditions. He even in places changed Panin's Greek text! In today's portion above, I found in his text my note dated Tuesday July 23, 1996 - “Don't waste your time checking the text of your former associate any longer. Redo it completely, plus a new formatting, plus a full English replacement. Peace will come to you with this decision and conclusion.” For two years I was so disturbed with what he had done to Panin's work, that I could not open his 2 volume Interlinear.


Now I am finally at peace, with but 46 out of the 260 NT chapters to complete. This, the Lord willing, will be completed this year, permitting the printing to take place.


I felt the Lord draw very near to me today as I prepared this portion of Matthew. Like Paul I say of myself, “For I knowthat in me, that is, in my :flesh, dwells no good” - Romans 7:18.Rather I like him say, “I have been crucified with Christ; and no longer I live, but Christ lives in me; and what I now live in theflesh I live by faith which is in the Son of :God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me” Galatians 2:20.


Pray for me for a successful completion of this assignment that came to me initially in 1944, with full clarity in 1967; with format understanding in 2007; and now close to completion in 2010. I believe God has reserved the effective release of Panin's work for the close of this age, to offset the hatred of Him and His Word just prior to the soon return of His Son. J.A.W.
